Reevax leaves for TransSchwarzwald !

The past week we were very busy with the preparations for this years 2nd big challenge: the TransSchwarzwald, across the famous and magnificent Black Forest in Germany, in 5 days, 460 km and 11000 meters of climbing. After a failed start last year, when the first edition was cancelled only 5 days before the start, we hope for a better ending this year. So far no bad news !

Tonight we were all very busy to get everything ready, pack our bags, and load up the cars. Tomorrow morning it goes to Pforzheim, the door to the Black Forest, after having picked up the mobilhome on the way. Just as in last year’s Transalp, Daan and Kroki will take care of all assistence and support during the race. Because as well Domie’s and Pepe’s condition is not optimal, we do not know very well what to expect. Domie used a lot more energy in Crete then he thought and has questionmarks about his fitness, for Pepe it went excellent 2 weeks ago, despite medical tests that report otherwise. Anyway, we are already a couple of days ahead in Pforzheim, to leave the workstress behind us and point all heads towards the Swiss border. Next Tuesday the start is given for 5 days of mountainbike fun !
